Según se ha revelado hace algunos días, el próximo 28 de octubre se lanzará al mercado un nuevo material discográfico de estudio, previsto para salir bajo el nombre de Perfect as cats, el cual será un tributo a la reconocida agrupación The Cure.

Los temas que compondrán este álbum estarán siendo interpretados por 32 bandas diferentes, que se unirán a la causa que tiene fines benéficos, ya que con lo recaudado de las ventas del mismo se ayudará a la ONG Invisible Children. Timbaland reúne grandes artistas para su 'Shock Value 2'

EL REGGAETON SERA PRESENTE EN VIÑA DEL MAR 2009

El reggaetón ha estado presente en los anteriores tres ediciones del Festival de Viña del Mar. Primero fue Daddy Yankee, luego Don Omar y en la última versión Calle 13 y Wisin & Yandel, por lo que ahora lo ojos están apuntando a otros grupos de este estilo de música que está lejos de abandonarnos.

Zion parece ser una de las cartas fuertes para venir al próximo Festival de Viña del Mar para llenar este género más bien juvenil. Su éxito "Zun da da" se repitió largamente en varias de las radios nacionales y en todas las discocas del país.

De hecho sus fanáticos de este exponente puertorriqueño esperan con ansias su venida a la ciudad jardín en febrero de 2009. "Yo quiero ir a ver a Zion porque es demasiado genial y si vienen se va a repletar", dijo un fans.

Sin embargo, Zion no es el único candidato que suena por estos días porque el también boricua Tito "El Bambino" es otra carta importante, ya que cuenta con muchísimos seguidores no sólo en Chile sino que en toda Latinoamérica.

Y por último está la opción de Alexis y Fido, el dúo reggaetonero que pegan fuerte en el circuito. Apodados los Pitbulls, se encuentran en plena promoción de su última placa Sobrenatural. En esa condición no parece descabellado pensar que puedan llegar al Festival.

Franco De Vita celebrará 25 años de carrera con Nuevo Single

"El último vals" es el primer single de "A las 5 en el Astoria" quinto albúm de La Oreja de Van Gogh y el primero tras la incorporación de su nueva vocalista Leire Martínez.

El reguetonero puertorriqueño Wisin contrajo matrimonio el sábado pasado con su novia Yomaira Ortiz Feliciano, en una sencilla ceremonia que se celebró en un restaurante del pueblo central de Cayey, informó hoy el periódico Primera Hora.

Según el diario, el compañero de dúo de Yandel, se mostró sorprendido por el grupo de periodistas que llegaron a la ceremonia a pesar de que la prensa no estaba invitada.

Wisin, cuyo verdadero nombre es Juan Luis Morera, expresó que "más que la boda", iban a celebrar "la pelea de (Miguel) Cotto", refiriéndose al boxeador boricua, quien posteriormente a la ceremonia perdió su invicto y título mundial welter ante el mexicano Antonio Margarito.

El padrino de la boda fue Yandel, quien además es padrino de la hija de Wisin, Yelena Morera Ortiz, de nueve meses.

Entre los invitados a la boda, estuvo el cantante de música cristiana Abraham.

Como medida de precaución, se pidió a los invitados que dejaran sus cámaras y celulares, tal y como ocurrió en la boda del también reguetonero Don Omar y la presentadora de televisión Jackie Guerrido en abril pasado en un hotel de San Juan.

The Cure retrasa lanzamiento de su disco

Luego de que se había establecido el 13 de agosto próximo como la fecha oficial para el lanzamiento del próximo material discográfico de la agrupación The Cure, ahora se ha dado a conocer que se tuvo que posponer la fecha para el 13 de octubre próximo, dos meses después, siempre basándose en el número 13, fecha en que han estado presentando cada mes un nuevo sencillo extraído de este disco.

Según se ha dado a conocer, el motivo por el cual The Cure ha retrasado el lanzamiento de este disco es debido a que están preparando también una gira de conciertos que emprenderán después de que se haya lanzado el álbum.

Es increíble la cantidad de países que celebran su independencia este mes: Canadá, Estados Unidos, Argentina, Francia y Perú, por citar algunos. Pero este año, sin duda es Colombia el país que ha celebrado -y seguirá celebrando- su independencia como ningún otro, bajo el lema de «Libérenlos ya», en solidaridad con los secuestrados por la guerrilla de las FARC.
Para tirar la casa por la ventana Shakira hizo un sitio en su agenda para regresar a su patria y presentarse ante sus paisanos de la localidad de Leticia, junto con Carlos Vives, con quien emocionó a la multitud que acudió a su concierto.
Juanes se hizo presente a la distancia, en compañia de la ex rehén Ingrid Betancourt y el cantante español Miguel Bosé. Ellos mandaron su saludo a Colombia desde un escenario montado en Trocadero, cerca a la centenaria Torre Eiffel.
Los dejamos con la presentación de Shakira y Carlos Vives, quienes interapretaron La Gota Fría y La Tortura.

Carlos Vives también interpretó Quiero verte sonreir en solitario.

Shakira cantó sola Tú.

La hamaca grande fue otro de los temas que Carlos Vives cantó para el público.

La Oreja de Van Gogh tiene nueva vocalista

La salida de Amaia Montero tuvo, por decir lo menos, el efecto de una hecatombe para la agrupación española La Oreja de Van Gogh.
Buscar el reemplazo para la recordada Amaia ha sido una dura tarea que los miembros restantes del grupo han manejado con mucha cautela, dosificando la información a cuentagotas a los diferentes medios de comunicación y agencias de noticias.
Pero lo que comenzó como un rumor, acaba de confirmarse: la nueva vocalista de La Oreja de Van Gogh es Leire Martínez, una bella donostiarra que se dio a conocer con su participación en el programa concurso Factor X, y que ahora tendrá que enfrentar la recepción de los fans y las inevitables comparaciones con su antecesora.

a reconocida agrupación Dragonforce, quien tenía bastante tiempo ya alejados de la industria musical, han dado a conocer recientemente que ya tienen listo lo que será su próximo material discográfico de estudio, que saldrá bajo el nombre de Ultra beatdown, previsto para lanzarse al mercado el 25 de agosto próximo.

Este álbum que fue producido por el sello discográfico Roadrunner Records, contiene ocho temas, completamente nuevos, los cuales los integrantes del grupo han definido como similares a sus anteriores propuestas, pero con una renovación un tanto fresca.

El junte de dos de las más importantes artistas del pop, dado entre Britney Spears y Madonna parece que se volverá a concretar, en esta ocasión como parte del tour mundial de conciertos que llevará a cabo la también conocida como “La reina del pop”, Madonna.

Pero según se ha dado a conocer por varios medios de comunicación, este junte entre ambas artistas no se dará en vivo como todos estaban esperando, sino que se llevará a cabo por medio de una grabación en video que transmitirán durante las presentaciones de Madonna en su tour de conciertos “Sticky & Sweet”.

Richard Ashcroft se cansó de andar solo. Simon Jones y Simon Tong disolvieron la agrupación The Shining. Nick McCabe se mantuvo algo alejado de los flashes. Pero al final todos regresaron después de ocho años para seguir sorprendiendo en conjunto con uno de los grupos de britpop más impactantes de la historia: The Verve.
Como se sabe, el cuarto trabajo de la banda, titulado simplemente Forth, ya está en camino para salir a la venta en agosto y poner en el diván de los recuerdos a su legendario Urban Hymns.
Para ello, el cuarteto británico acaba de lanzar Love is noise, el primer corte de Forth, que confirma el talento y estilo de la banda orignaria de Wigan.

Eso fue lo que sintió el público español al presenciar uno de los acontecimientos musicales más esperados del año: ver a la barbadense Rihanna en escenario español cantando a dúo con David Bisbal, uno de los ídolos pop del momento en la Península Ibérica.
Ambos aparecieron en la gala del programa cazatalentos Operación Triunfo -en el cual Bisbal se dio a conocer hace algunos años-, e interpretaron juntos el popular tema Hate that I love you, disponible en la reedición de Good girl gone bad de Rihanna.

El 22 de septiembre próximo ha sido la fecha fijada por la reconocida agrupación de rock Within Temptation para lanzar de manera oficial su próximo material discográfico de estudio, el cual será un DVD que saldrá bajo el nombre de Black Symphony.

En este DVD se encuentran las imágenes del concierto ofrecido por la banda en el establecimiento del Ahoy Arena de Rotterdam, el pasado 7 de febrero, para lo cual se utilizaron grabaciones de 14 cámaras diferentes, por lo que se promete un material de buena calidad.

Por fin Britney Spears es noticia por no hacer escándalos. ¿Qué hay de nuevo de la princesita del chicle globo? Pues que aparte de cederle el primer lugar como la más odiada de Internet a Miley Cyrus y estar preparándose para grabar un video que aparecerá en la gira de Madonna, Spears acaba de poner a la venta su guardarropa.
En la venta que la casa Gotta have it! llevará a cabo del 21 de julio al 6 de agosto se subastarán los trajes que la cantante utilizó en la grabación de sus videoclips, cuyo valor sobrepasa los quince mil dólares por prenda.
Sin embargo, la casa de subastas también pondrá a la venta otros objetos que pertenecieron a Madonna, entre los cuales figura una agenda escrita por la mismísima diva.
Uno de los trajes que más llama la atención es el uniforme que Britney utilizó en Baby one more time, canción que la lanzó a la fama.

Hace un par de días se reveló un nuevo tema extraído del próximo material discográfico de estudio de la agrupación estadounidense de rock Slipknot, el cual sale bajo el nombre de Psychosocial, tras darse a conocer el tema All hope is gone, primer sencillo del álbum y que le da nombre al disco, al parecer.

En Psychosocial, la banda liderada por su vocalsita Corey Taylor y originarios de Iowa, siguen la línea prometida para este nuevo disco, con un sonido bastante fuerte. Asimismo, cabe destacar que el pasado 1 de julio Slipknot presentó de manera oficial sus nuevas máscaras.

El reconocido rapero estadounidense Dr. Dre lanzará un nuevo material discográfico próximamente, tras aproximadamente nueve años de ausencia de la industria musical. La noticia del lanzamiento del nuevo disco de Dr. Dre fue dada a conocer por el también rapero estadounidense Snoop Dogg.

Bajo el nombre de Detox saldrá esta nueva producción discográfica de estudio, que contará con la colaboración de Snoop Dogg en la grabación del mismo. “El disco es real, está llegando. Dulce María protagonizará telenovela juvenil

Las últimas noticias sobre RBD están causando desconcierto entre sus fans. Primero fue la bella Maité Perroni, que decidió protagonizar una novela y estuvo ausente en la campaña pro alimentación y salud que la agrupación llevó a cabo junto con Kudai y la popular Lola, y también en un concierto, en el que tampoco se vio a Anahí.
Ahora le toca el turno a Dulce María, quien será la protagonista de la nueva telenovela juvenil del productor Pedro Damián, artífice de la adaptación la serie argentina Rebelde Way para el mercado mexicano, que todos conocemos como Rebelde.
Hasta ahora la joven artista ha declarado que podrá organizar su tiempo para grabar la telenovela (para la cual seguramente grabará la banda sonora) y continuar con la agrupación RBD. Ojalá así sea.
Dulce María es una de las integrantes de RBD que ha figurado en agrupaciones anteriores. En el 2001 estuvo en el cuarteto femenino Jeans y apareció en el sencillo Muero por ti.

Aun se encuentran en promoción de su última publicación discográfica, pero los integrantes de la banda de Oasis han revelado ya la fecha de lanzamiento de un próximo álbum de estudio, que saldrá bajo el nombre de Dig Out Your Soul, previsto para comenzar a venderse el 6 de octubre próximo.

Asimismo, se dio a conocer que el tema The shock of the lightning, será el primer sencillo y corte promocional del álbum, canción que comenzará a escucharse a partir del 29 de septiembre próximo, unos cuantos días antes del lanzamiento del disco.
